Coraplast®
Coraplast, is a light self supporting, hollow core ribbed material
much like cardboard in design. Coraplast is manufactured from impact
grade PVC, polypropylene or polyethylene, depending on the manufacturer.
Coraplast competes against many traditional materials where benefits
of light weight strength, weather resistance, chemical resistance
and durability under repeat abuses are important: Coraplast is a
cost effective alternative.
10mm coraplast sheets are a durable lightweight alternative to plywood,
metal or solid plastic for graphics applications. A 48" x 96"
sheet weights only 13 lbs. Additives are available fro static control,
long term ultra violet protection and to reduce flammability. Coraplast
comes in 12 standard colors.
Please note, that due to differences in display
monitors, the colors may not be exact in intensity. Applications
Coraplast has many applications and is used in many industries.

Technical Data - top
Printing Coraplast can be printed or decorated by several
processes. High levels of corona treatment (55 + dynes) are available.
Inks are available for solvent and U.V. screen printing, and for flexographic
printing.
Weather Resistance
Coraplast is not affected by rain or snow. U.V. stabilizers
are available for longer term direct sun protection.
