Kydex® V Utility Sheet
Kydex V sheet is a recycled grade of proprietary acrylic/PVC thermoplastic
sheet that is cost competitive with other utility grades of thermoplastic
sheet while offering improved performance. It is particularly well
suited for hidden or painted parts since it has some degree of color
variability. It is only available in black and in thicknesses from
0.040" (1.02mm) and up in a limited number of textures.
SUGGESTED USES
Kydex V sheet can be used to substitute effectively for utility
grade thermoplastics.
It is very appropriate for hidden parts and painted parts and/or
where fire retardancy is not required.
FEATURES
Kydex V sheet is offered in gauges from .040" (1.02mm)
and up.
Kydex V sheet is available in roll stock at .040" (1.02mm)
and in sheet stock over the entire thickness range.
It is available in three textures: P1 Haircell, PC Level Haircell,
and PF Levant.
FABRICATION
Excellent forming properties result in uniform wall thicknesses
and crisp detail, plus easy machining and fabricating using conventional
methods, further expanding finished part possibilities.
