Kydex® CL2 Clear Hi Impact Rigid
PVC Sheet
Kydex CL2 high impact clear sheet is masked
on both sides to prevent damage to the showcase quality clear smooth
surface. This material has excellent chemical resistance and is
flame retardant.
SUGGESTED USES
• Semiconductor processing equipment(clean
rooms, quartz cabinets, etc.
• Etching and plating tanks
• Machined and fabricated parts
• Scrubbers, hoods, ducts, and other protective equipment
• Thermoformed parts
• Aircraft interior components
FEATURES
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE - Kydex CL2 has excellent chemical and
corrosion resistance.
FIRE RETARDANCY - Kydex CL2 is flame retardant and meets
UL 94 HB requirements.
QUALITY - Kydex CL2 has a showcase quality surface. It is
stress relieved, square, flat sheet. It stays functional and attractive
over time in a wide range of demanding applications.
IMPACT RESISTANCE - Higher impact resistance than other
clear PVC or acrylic sheet grades.
FABRICATION
Kydex CL2 is thermoformable and is easily fabricated, welded,
and machined for further expanding finished part possibilities.
